Beyond Nen beginner guide for Place 6016716328: redeem Spins, choose race and lineage, clear Whale Island boards, then sit the Hunter Exam before Nen.
Whale Island, codes, Hunter Exam, first Nen.

This Beyond Nen beginner guide is how to play Place 6016716328 (universe 2174306620, Beyond Nen) on the first session. You land on Whale Island, redeem Spins, decide race and lineage, clear the early mission boards, and sit the Hunter Exam before you treat Nen as something you already own.
The listing has been live since November 6, 2026. Nen is not a character-create toggle. Public walkthroughs send players to the exam at level 10, then to a merchant mat and Rohan. Play on Roblox. Checked November 8, 2026.

How to play Beyond Nen starts before the first quest marker. Select a character slot, then open Customize. The same screen holds outfits (hair, face, clothes), the Nen tab where Spins are spent, and the code box. Paste THANKYOU! and RELEASE! before you spin anything. Both are the multi-source strings, both end with !, and both pay Spins. PATCH1! and UPDATECOMING stay Unverified. Click path and rejects: how to redeem. The table lives on codes.
Run the tutorial even if you already know a third-person action camera. One walkthrough treats it as free Spins plus a walk through the basic prompts. The same session shows an optional tutorial boss. Beating that boss is described as a legendary chest and more Spins. Skipping it does not lock Whale Island. If the fight feels unfair on a fresh character, leave it and come back after you have a weapon and a block.

Roblox search returns other experiences and script pages for the same words. The title on this Beyond Nen beginner guide matches the listing by Beyond Nen, Place 6016716328. If Customize is missing, you are in a different experience or a tutorial cover is hiding the left HUD. Finish or skip that cover, then look again. Do not install an outside menu to “find” the code box.
After the prompts end, the island does not keep holding your hand with the same arrows. Press P. Walkthroughs show a world tracker for the active quest, side jobs, campfires, and important NPCs. That tracker is how you play the next hour without memorizing a map. The next section is the only spend that should happen before you follow the first star.
Spend the first Spins on race and lineage. Those two change the character you quest with today. Affinity and ability also sit on the Customize Nen tab, and walkthroughs say an ability roll follows the affinity you hold. A Hatsu still does nothing useful until Nen is unlocked, so burning the whole stack on a random ability is how a beginner session goes broke before level 10.
The odds panel on that tab lists five races in the same order as the races page: Celestial (Mythical), Cyborg (Legendary), Cat (Rare), Rabbit (Uncommon), Human (Common). Celestial is the 1% band. One walkthrough also reads an 85-spin pity on that panel. Treat the pity as Unverified until a second screen agrees. You do not need Celestial to clear Whale Island.

| Roll | Spend Spins now? | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Race | Yes, with a stop rule | Passive you feel while questing. Odds: races page |
| Lineage | Yes, then stop | Perk now. Named lines include Kurta, Zoldyck, Freecss. Evolve near level 30 |
| Affinity | Only after you can name the six types | A five-name overlay missed Specialization. Read affinities |
| Ability | Save most Spins | Locked behind the exam and Rohan. Table: abilities |
One walkthrough opens a lineage card and shows Kurta granting an eye awakening, and says most lineages are passive buffs. The lineage page is where Zoldyck, Kurta, and Freecss are written up. Other clan names from a single tier recap stay on that page so this guide does not pretend every starter clan has a verified perk. If the card in front of you is a clan you cannot explain, stop spinning.
A Customize pass listed Transmuter, Conjurer, Enhancer, Manipulator, and Emitter, and said abilities stay inside that type. The published affinity recap has six types, including Specialization, plus neighbor skill caps. Do not reroll away a usable race because that overlay omitted a type. How to play Beyond Nen today does not require a perfect affinity. Bank Spins, then follow the island loop in the next section.
Follow the star or the main quest until a mission board is on the tracker. Walkthroughs use that board as the early level loop, and they agree the goal is level 10, because that is when the Hunter Exam shows up in the main menu. One pass also shows a repeat prompt after you kill the quest target: accept it and farm the same spot instead of jogging back to the board every time.
Along that loop a quest offers a starter weapon: sword or bat. Either is fine. Equip it from the inventory. Later schematics (one screen showed a gauntlet sniper) need materials, so they are not the first-hour craft. Each weapon can carry its own skills. If you plan to stay on that weapon, put stat points in Weapon. If you are still punching, Strength is the melee stat.

| Input on one controls card | What it did on that card |
|---|---|
| M1 | Attack |
| Hold M2 + M1 | Rush down |
| F | Block |
| Q | Dash, also labeled evade |
| Double-tap W | Run |
| Space on a wall | Climb |
| A / D | Wall-run and vault |
| R / hold R | Critical / charged critical |
| Ctrl + M1 | Uptilt |
| Jump + hold M1 | Aerial |
| G | Nen charge, once Nen exists |
| E | Nen technique menu |
| M | Menu (inventory, stats, skill tree) |
| Alt | Shift lock |
| P | Quest tracker and important NPCs |
| H | Emote — the label is muddy, trust the card |
That control list is one overlay. A second walkthrough, without reprinting every key, shows running attacks, an aerial, an uppercut, parry, and block, and uses Z and X for weapon skills after a weapon is out. V was glued to the word “combat” on the first card, so this page will not assign V a job. Mobile and console glyphs were not on the card. If your settings screen prints different binds, the screen wins.
Two menus agree on the five stats. Strength is fist and basic melee damage. Durability is health and defense; one read also ties it to posture. Nen is Nen damage and reserves, which is a weak spend before you unlock Nen. Weapon is weapon damage and weapon-skill damage. Stamina is the pool skills spend; one read also ties it to speed. A single menu claimed a level cap of 80 and four points per level. Those two numbers stay Unverified. Put points in the stat your current weapon actually uses, and leave a Nen dump for after Rohan.
The next decision is the exam, not a second island. Boards keep paying experience after level 10. They do not replace the license.
Queue from the main menu, not from a random NPC on the beach. Three walkthroughs put the gate at level 10. One of them also says the lobby wants at least six players and caps at 24. That headcount is a single recap, so treat a closed lobby as “not enough people yet,” not as a broken character. The timer is a conflict: one walkthrough says the exam opens about every four hours, another says it is hosted on a repeating timer and does not name the gap. Watch for the popup or the main-menu entry. Do not invent a clock.
Stage shape is stable enough to prepare, and the named route stays on the Hunter Exam page: a stamina run, a maze, a badge fight, then a 1v1. Walkthroughs describe the same beats with looser names (running stage, maze, badge steal or a boss inside the maze, then a final fight). One pass says the run has PvP on and that going the wrong way can disqualify you, and advises queuing with friends because the late stage is an open fight. That is advice, not a drop rate. Practice block and M1 on Whale Island mobs before you queue. A skateboard shows up in exam notes as a faster run option; if you do not own one, the on-foot path is still the documented course.
| You are here | Do this | Do not |
|---|---|---|
| Under level 10 | Board quests and the repeat prompt | Sit in the exam menu hoping it ignores level |
| Level 10, lobby closed | Keep questing, recheck the main menu | Assume the exam was removed |
| Lobby open | Queue, run the course, finish the maze, survive the fight stage | Start a Volcanic Domain group |
| Failed a stage | Requeue when it opens again | Reroll your race out of frustration |
| License in hand | Buy the mat if you skipped it, then Rohan | Look for a character-create Nen switch |
The listing ties a passed exam to a Hunter License and later Hunter missions. One walkthrough also claims the license raises a level cap in steps toward 80 and opens aura nodes. Those extra rewards are Unverified. What this beginner guide will commit to is the license, then the Nen quest. Stage-by-stage tells (red boulder circles, slide, Trick Tower, Zevil Island badges) stay on the exam page so the two articles do not drift.
One walkthrough opened a progress board and said the link was in the description, including exam steps. There is no verified official Trello as of November 8, 2026. Do not follow that board for the route. Use the exam page, then Discord (discord.gg/beyondnen) if the lobby rule changes. The Nen steps below are what to do after the license, which is the part beginners try to skip.
Passing the exam is the path that also gives the license, so it is the path this Beyond Nen beginner guide tells you to plan. Walkthroughs then agree on a merchant meditation mat and on Rohan in the Nen cave (described as middle of the map, right of the village, the cave the quest highlights). Buy the mat when the shop is on the P tracker, near spawn, before you make the walk. One route is: Rohan asks you to meditate, you buy the mat, you fill a 10/10 meditation bar, you return, and he unlocks Nen. Another route is: buy the mat, pass the exam, follow the Activate Nen marker, talk to the highlighted NPC. If your quest text names a step, do that step. The letter QTE, the E wheel, and G charge are written on how to get Nen.
Two other routes show up often enough to name, and neither replaces the license. Seven aura-node masters: a popup when one spawns, talk to each, then Rohan. Two walkthroughs put the spawn near 30 minutes; one says 45. Trust the popup, not a stopwatch. Another player opens your nodes: two walkthroughs call this a 3% success and name the talent Way of Nen. One says a failed try can apply negative Nen stats, so do not spam it, and one says a cave NPC named Shin is where that transfer is offered. Effect of the talent stays TBA. Unlocking Nen this way, if it works, still does not hand you the Hunter License.
| Route | What walkthroughs agree | What stays TBA |
|---|---|---|
| Hunter Exam, then Rohan | License plus the Nen quest. Main path here | Exact lobby interval |
| Seven node masters | Seven NPCs, then Rohan. Popup announces a spawn | 30 minutes vs 45 minutes |
| Another player opens nodes | 3% in two recaps. Talent name Way of Nen | What the talent actually changes. Failure penalty is one recap |
| Character create | Not a Nen unlock | Nothing — this route does not exist in the sources |
Once Nen is on, E opens techniques and M opens the skill tree: combat style, Nen ability, Nen skills, Nen techniques. Nodes ask for mastery ranks and meditation experience. Meditation on the mat is also how those technique bars move. Combat styles exist and are easy to click; they are a poor place to dump every point if you are still building the weapon you equipped on the island. Ability requirements such as a mastery rank of four showed on one tree. Read the node. Do not buy a rank because one demo used Rising Sun.
Gladiator is on the official listing as a rival-team fight. One walkthrough treats a Gladiator event as “defeat people.” Rules are still thin, so it is not hour one. A level-20 bounty board, PvP mission tickets that appear at level 10, campfires that set your spawn, and crafting recipes (one screen asked for ocean crystals, iron, and a boss core) are real systems to notice and bad systems to grind before the license. Volcanic Domain is an official boss destination. Bring a group after you have Nen, not before you have a block. The last section is the short list of things that look like progress and are not.
Ignore script pages, “auto exam” loaders, and anyone who wants a cookie or an off-Roblox login to “fix” your Spins. Ignore a Trello link pasted from a walkthrough description. Ignore a second account plan; this guide does not recommend alt farms. Ignore UPDATECOMING and PATCH1! until you have accepted that a reject is allowed. Ignore the urge to reroll Human into dust. A common race with a weapon and a level-10 exam plan beats an empty Spin counter and no license.
How to play Beyond Nen after that ignore-list is the same loop you already have: codes, a readable race and lineage, boards, exam, mat, Rohan. New strings, if they exist, show up at Discord (discord.gg/beyondnen), then on the codes table. They do not show up as a chat command.
The Roblox description asks players to like the experience for free codes and rewards. A like does not type THANKYOU! for you. Paste the Code cell. If a later like-goal string is real, it will be a new row after a second source or the official Discord posts it.
You have the first-session order. The exam page is the next read when the lobby opens. The Nen page is the next read when the license is in hand. Affinity, techniques, races, and lineages are lookups, not a second tutorial.
Next: queue the Hunter Exam at level 10, then follow how to get Nen for the mat, Rohan, and the QTE.
Paste strings from codes and watch Discord (discord.gg/beyondnen) for the next one.
Redeem THANKYOU! and RELEASE!, keep a race and lineage you understand, follow Whale Island boards to level 10, then queue the Hunter Exam from the main menu.
After a real unlock route. The one this page plans is the exam, a meditation mat, and Rohan. Seven node masters and a 3% player-open are alternate recaps and do not grant the license by themselves. Steps: how to get Nen.
Public walkthroughs use level 10. The exact reopen timer conflicts across recaps, so use the main-menu entry and the popup.
No. Celestial is the 1% race and it is not required for Whale Island or the exam. Stop when the race and lineage cards make sense.
Either starter is fine. Equip it, put points in Weapon if you will keep it, and leave rare schematics until you have materials.
No verified public board as of November 8, 2026. Use discord.gg/beyondnen.
No. Codes add Spins. The island loop runs without them. Redeem the two Active strings anyway so the first race decision is cheaper.
